Last year, a turbine flowmeter was used to measure the cumulative volume of tap water. It was quite accurate at first, but the error gradually increased; after about a year, the error reached 4.5%, which is quite significant. The coefficient values were adjusted, so I would like to ask if anyone knows of flowmeters that can provide more stable readings Also, when measuring the flow rate of materials pumped by diaphragm pumps, what types of flow meters are suitable for measuring fluids with pulses? ? Thank you
Vortex flowmeters are most sensitive to vibrations; the second issue is flow velocity – check these two reasons! As for estimating the cumulative flow of pulses, it’s very difficult!
Gear pumps and epicyclic gear flow meters with pulses, for measuring fluids at relatively small diameters, should work fine.
