In the fire protection design codes for petrochemical enterprises, only the relevant requirements for discharging combustible gases into the atmosphere are specified. Are there any code requirements for discharging non-combustible gases (such as nitrogen and air from safety valves) into the atmosphere?
The Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants GB 16297 applies; this standard sets emission limits for 33 types of air pollutants, as well as various requirements for its implementation.
