A colleague in the company who was responsible for audits left, and my manager asked me to re-examine the projects he had been working on. It seems that he wasn’t as attentive as he should have been; there were many issues in the drawings and documents. When I pointed out those problems one by one, the designers were not happy, as there was too much that needed to be changed. Some of the changes also involved other departments, and time wasn’t sufficient to carry them out. My manager then told me to make an effort again, to categorize the problems – those that are required by regulations must be fixed, while those that can be adjusted optionally can be ignored. Me: ? Dear, for the process design documents, which ones can be changed and which ones don’t have to be changed?
Those that do not violate laws and regulations, but affect efficiency and ease of use
To be honest, at this stage of the project, all I can do is check whether there are any safety attachments and whether the operation is convenient. There’s no time or energy to address the deeper issues.
