I would like to ask everyone: for a 1.1 MPA, 220-degree steam cylinder, how should the inlet and outlet valves be selected? There are the following considerations now: 1. For double gate valves, they should also close tightly ； 2. Gate valve, plus a check valve; however, for vertical pipes, the check valve allows steam to flow only from bottom to top, which means the check valve can only be installed in horizontal pipes. Regarding the arrangement of the steam cylinder valves, no relevant information was found. How do you people find out about this?
The question is quite technical, but regarding valves, check valves can be installed not only vertically but also horizontally. Gate valves have their particular uses due to their low resistance; for regulating purposes, globe valves are preferable.
