According to the \"Specifications for the Engineering Design of Process Systems in Chemical Plants (III) HG 20559-1993\", waste heat boilers are classified by their evaporation capacity: those with an evaporation capacity of 20 t/h or less are considered small boilers, those with a capacity of 20–75 t/h are medium-sized boilers, and those with a capacity of over 75 t/h are large boilers.
