In the entire production process, only distillation is used to purify the products, with no chemical reactions taking place. Can such companies not be considered chemical enterprises? Using chemicals means it’s chemical industry; by that logic, many industries use chemicals. The distillation process is also useful in the food and pharmaceutical industries; can’t that be used as a criterion either?
