The original facility was ordinary; now, several 2m3 storage tanks for Class A liquids have been installed to form a combined facility area. Does this entire combined facility area need to be classified as Class A as well? ?
Normally, it depends on the area occupied by your tank within the device’s space; if it’s very small, it may not need to be classified as Category A. But in most cases, it can be classified as Category A
So this device doesn’t need to be explosion-proof? Does that mean the entire device area needs to be explosion-proof then? ?

Because of that single 2m3 Class A liquid storage tank, the entire plant area has to be made explosion-proof, and the cost of that is extremely high. Don’t those who establish the standards take this issue into consideration? ? ? One-size-fits-all? ?

What about less than 5%? ? It’s not classified as Category A, but what about explosion protection? Is explosion protection required if it’s within 5%? Is explosion protection needed outside?
