Must the ESD emergency shutdown system be designed to be automatic? In general reaction systems, is what is referred to as an emergency shutdown always an automatic and rapid pressure-relief shutdown? Parking achieved through gradual manual control is different from normal parking; can it be called an emergency stop, that is, a process that requires rapid coordination between internal and external operators to initiate a manual stop response?
Emergency shutdowns are usually automatic; since they are called emergency stops, they must be carried out quickly. For example, in the case of fans or compressors that are not functioning properly, an emergency stop is triggered to prevent accidents. Manual control is generally referred to as planned shutdowns. These are personal opinions and not necessarily correct.
