For self-acting valves used in gas systems, what are the requirements regarding the AC and SG grades as per the manufacturer’s data sheets? Are there no significant differences in terms of pressure and structure, and are the applicable standards the same? Can a regular self-acting type be used instead? ? I’m seeking help from all the experts out there
The pressure accuracy grades and shut-off grades for gas regulators are specified in the standard \"Urban Gas Regulators\" GB 27790-2011; Generally, pressure regulating valves are used; however, the standard \"Self-acting Pressure Regulating Valves\" JB T11049-2010 does not specify clear definitions for pressure accuracy grades and closing degrees. Suggestion: Use a gas regulator if the price is appropriate. If the owner does not specify a standard, a regular pressure regulator can also be used. However, it should be noted that regular pressure regulators have seat leakage; if leakage is not allowed in the actual application, it is better to use a gas pressure regulator to prevent overpressure in the subsequent piping systems during use. It should be given special attention that the leakage level specified in GB 27790 is significantly lower than that in JB T11049! ! !
I just mentioned the pressure level and the shutdown level. Which one is better to use? ? At the same pressure rating, is the price of a regulator for gas higher than that of a regular self-acting pressure reducing valve?
