How can one determine whether the nominal pressure of an outdoor fire hydrant should be 1.0 Mpa or 1.6 Mpa when selecting it?
Is it determined based on the pressure of the fire protection piping system? So how is this pressure calculated?
There is a tank area that requires an outdoor fire hydrant; we connected it directly to the municipal water supply network, and SS100/65 was chosen for it. However, we’re not sure what nominal pressure should be used

Select based on the design pressure of the pipeline
It’s possible to calculate the water pressure from the pump to your location; if you really don’t know anything, use 1.6 MPa
