I would like to ask the experts: what kind of insulation enclosure materials are suitable for use in acidic environments? I heard that PVC works well; apart from PVC, what other non-metallic insulation enclosure materials are available? ? ?
I have consulted some manufacturers, and ordinary PVC materials can achieve fire resistance level B1
In highly corrosive environments, is aluminum sheet more prone to corrosion?
In areas with severe corrosion, the aluminum sheet will corrode
Have you encountered such operating conditions here? What type of casing material is used in such situations?
Haven’t seen it. The aluminum sheets used for insulation in our wet processing workshop became corroded after a few years, so they were replaced
The environment in the chemical industry is often acidic. Insulation materials used on the outside need to be replaced over time, so... cost should be the main factor to consider
