The research and application of catalysts have become an important frontier in the field of chemical synthesis. A chemical reaction that involves a catalyst is called a catalytic reaction. When a catalyst accelerates the reaction rate, it is called positive catalysis; when it slows down the reaction rate, it is called negative catalysis. And what we commonly see are catalysts that speed up reaction rates. Have you used any catalysts to slow down the reaction rate?
