We are the ones to put forward requirements for the instruments based on the process needs; the specific procurement conditions are determined by the instrumentation team

The process engineering team puts forward requirements; the instrumentation team selects the appropriate equipment and issues a purchase order for procurement.

Generally, after the pipeline engineering model is completed, the process engineering team prepares a table outlining the locations where hazards may arise, based on the characteristics of the media processed by the equipment; it is then up to the instrumentation team to determine whether gas detectors are necessary. The list of potential hazard release points proposed by the process engineering team should include at least the following information: 1) Location of the emission point: including the equipment identifier, name/characteristics of the source of release, equipment capacity, whether it is indoors or outdoors, elevation of the facility, and leakage level. 2) Properties of the medium: including the name of the medium, its composition, fire hazard level, toxicity, corrosiveness, explosive range, flash point, melting point, boiling point, ignition point, and relative density. 3) Operating conditions of the facility: temperature and pressure. 4) Quality of ventilation in the facility. 5) Horizontal distance from the source of release to the boundaries of Zone 0/Zone 1, Zone 1/Zone 2, and Zone 2/non-explosive areas
