Should equipment used for hazardous chemical processes in non-hazardous chemical processes be regulated in accordance with the requirements for hazardous chemical processes? Are there any relevant guidelines?

There are systems in place for managing hazardous processes and hazardous chemicals; I’ve never heard of controls focused on equipment itself. There are also specific regulations for the management of special equipment such as pressure vessels, as well as for special operations in confined spaces. It seems like what you’re asking about isn’t the same issue
It has nothing to do with hazardous chemical processes and equipment. The degree of automatic control and the SIS system that are of concern in hazardous chemical processes.
