PSV, Pressure Safety Valve – a safety valve that falls under the category of instruments.
PSV stands for safety valve; this tag number corresponds to the opening pressure of the safety valve.

Two stop valves, and a safety valve with a nominal diameter of 80. When the system pressure rises above the set value of the safety valve, it opens automatically to release pressure; once the pressure drops below that set value, the safety valve closes automatically. Many of them have built-in springs.
