There is a safety valve on the outlet pipeline of the metering pump in our boiler chemical dosing system. The safety valves on the outlet pipelines of the two pumps have different designs, but the nameplates have fallen off over time. Now one of these safety valves is broken; how can we determine its model and how should we submit a request to replace it?
The most important factors are the thread specifications and the operating pressure. If it’s convenient, add me on WeChat at 13913085729; I’ll help you take a look. We specialize in safety valves and are among the top three in China!

If it’s nearby, you can come for surveying, or you can send it over
Check with the design institute and look at the design drawings; the set pressure is usually indicated for PID
Find the set pressure; everything else isn’t important. If it doesn’t work, just switch to a universal model
Firstly, it indicates that your equipment management is rather lax; normally, these safety valves are kept in records, and the data on them should be quite comprehensive; Secondly, it is necessary to determine a maximum pressure based on the outlet pressure data of your metering pump (or the data listed on its nameplate), in conjunction with the maximum operating pressure of your boiler’s drum; then, take 1.1 times this value
You can check what the pressure indicated on the nameplate of the metering pump is
