In areas where ethanol-blended gasoline is used on a large scale, what is the main source of ethanol? Thank you.
The annual production of fuel ethanol in the country is around 2.5 to 2.8 million tons, while the production of blended gasoline is 25 to 28 million tons; however, this accounts for only 20% of the total national gasoline consumption for that year.
