However, for one type of wastewater in our company, flocculation does not occur after going through these steps, which leads to problems in the subsequent wastewater treatment process. I would like to ask experts: what could be the reasons for this situation?

Flocculants are divided into cationic and anionic types; it depends on the requirements for future procurement whether there are any differences in selection. Additionally, when the mixing ratios change, the tendency to settle may decrease from easy settlement to difficult settlement
The reason for this phenomenon is mostly due to an inappropriate proportion of the flocculant used. The dosage ratio can be determined through pilot tests, or the manufacturer can be consulted at critical moments to choose other flocculant products
