There is currently one hydrogen pipeline with a diameter of DN40 and a pressure of 5.0 MPa. At a junction point, instead of using a tee fitting, a hole was made and welded directly. According to 5.1.7.3 of GB20801.3, when a branch pipe is welded directly to the main pipe, pressure design (reinforcement calculations) shall be carried out.
