I have a question: as the title suggests, what good methods are there for rapidly condensing large amounts of steam at low pressure?
The steam volume is very high, 1500 cubic meters per minute; it’s likely that the cooling pipes won’t be able to cool down effectively, or else they will have to be extremely long
Build a small spray tower to cool down with water
It’s really big! Is it a power plant? Is the use of spray towers allowed?
1. Direct it into the tower tank using sprinkling water. 2. Heat exchange through a heat exchanger (low efficiency). 3. Cool it down by injecting water into the pipelines. These are the only methods I can think of
Why has the pressure of the waste steam from the power plant dropped to almost zero? I remember when I was at a large chemical plant, the low-pressure steam used came from the waste steam of the power plant. Is it possible to increase the pressure of this waste steam and supply it to the steam-consuming units, or use a compressor to increase the pressure of the waste steam in order to improve its quality?

Spraying can be used; it is indeed being applied now, but the condensation effect is average – a large portion of the vapor escapes as it cannot be condensed
Attention must be paid to the amount of water used, the temperature of the water, and the location where it is sprayed; otherwise, watering becomes pointless
