What does the designation Class C B in a certain area on the plant layout diagram mean?
Does it indicate the risk of fire?

It probably refers to buildings or structures classified as Category C in terms of fire hazard according to the building codes or petrochemical industry regulations. Looking at our site plan, there is also a classification of Category CB. According to GB50016-2014, the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, fire hazards are classified into several categories. In GB50160-2008, the Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises, the fire hazard classification for liquefied hydrocarbons and flammable liquids is specified. Therefore, your site plan should be designed in accordance with the petrochemical industry regulations; Category CB refers to buildings or structures used for the production or storage of liquefied hydrocarbons and flammable liquids with a flash point greater than 120°C.
