Hello! A mass flow meter directly measures the output mass flow rate, when used for mass measurement. No compensation is needed ； If volumetric flow rate is required, temperature compensation is necessary.

Why is no compensation needed when measuring the mass of ethanol? (Normally, when measuring mass flow rate, compensation for temperature and pressure is required because these factors affect density; hence, the mass flowing out in a certain volume over a given time requires such compensation.) I would like to ask those who don’t use compensation: is it due to the special properties of ethanol? I’m seeking an explanation for some other reason as well.
