What is meant by \"corrosive\" in the definition of pressure pipelines? To what extent does corrosion constitute such a condition, and what is the basis for this? Does anyone know?
Corrosivity refers to the harm it causes to humans, mainly from acids, bases, and oxidizing substances.

I would like to ask how to determine the corrosivity of the gas contained in a gas cylinder

The nominal pressure refers to the pressure at which stable operation is possible; it is not the ultimate pressure, and there is definitely some margin at this level. The test pressure is meant to assess your working capacity; it’s not a continuous operation but rather a brief one, so of course the pressure needs to be higher. Just like in the cement stability test, it’s not possible to wait for several years to see whether the cement is stable or not; generally, the autoclaving method is used to accelerate the hydration process and the alkali-aggregate reaction, so as to determine the stability of the cement.
