There is currently a diazotization reactor in which an aqueous solution of sodium nitrite needs to be added, but this solution must first be prepared in another reactor. I found on Baidu that sodium nitrite can explode when subjected to impact. I would like to ask those of you who have experience: 1. What measures should be taken during the preparation stage to prevent sodium nitrite from being impacted? 2. Are there any special considerations for transporting sodium nitrite solutions?
It depends on the severity of the impact; using a hammer vs. something else makes a difference. Objects that can explode when subjected to impact may have different levels of danger compared to sodium sulfite
