Does anyone know of reliable companies that offer comprehensive utilization technologies for 30,000 tons per year of waste mineral oil?
Currently, there are many process routes in China for recycling used engine oil to produce base oils, and the mature and widely used process is vacuum distillation + solvent refining. In terms of the vacuum distillation process, coking is an inevitable issue, primarily due to the additives present in used engine oil. If tubular reactors made from crude oil are used, coking must be removed on a regular basis; in China, a monthly cleaning cycle is considered appropriate. Our company employs a special heating method that allows the coking removal cycle to be extended to four months. Solvent purification employs advanced domestic NMP extraction. Hello, the waste mineral oil recovery technology with a capacity of 30,000 tons per year relies on vacuum distillation plus solvent refining; it requires less investment and offers higher returns. The manufacturers mentioned by the two people above use hydrogenation refining, which is more complex technically and involves higher costs, and is suitable for facilities with a capacity of over 100,000 tons. A facility with a capacity of 30,000 tons does not yield high economic benefits.
A capacity of 30,000 tons per year generally involves dehydration plus distillation/rectification; for such a small scale, from an economic perspective, no one would invest in specialized refining, unless the parent plant already has existing refining facilities
