Dear experts, may I ask under what circumstances internal fixing supports, external fixing supports, and combined internal and external fixing supports are used for directly buried steam pipelines, and how should they be installed? Are detailed drawings required for the supports? It’s still possible to place orders directly with the manufacturer. Urgent, waiting online. Thank you all.
It’s best to have design drawings; you can place an order directly, but there might be size errors

There are various support design methods for directly-buried steam pipes, such as internal sliding with external fixing, internal sliding with internal fixing, and external sliding with internal fixing; these are also discussed in Zhang Dejiang’s book. Detailed drawings are necessary, and with those drawings, the components can be prefabricated on-site or ordered from manufacturers.

The support can come with a simple diagram and catalog number, but the secondary design drawings prepared by the pipe rack manufacturer need to be reviewed by the design institute.
The design of pressure pipelines requires appropriate design qualifications.
