Dear experts and veterans in this forum, in the methanol process, some methanol vapor is carried away along with the non-condensable gases released from the pre-distillation tower. To reduce this waste, it is planned to install desalinated water spray nozzles at either the outlet or inlet of the separator. The schematic diagram of the plan is as follows.
