What does it mean that on the PID diagram, the motor M is first connected to KY and then to HIS? What do KY and HIS mean respectively?

HIS should be a manually operated switch with a position indicator

Regarding PID diagram symbols, there is currently no unified standard; each design company has its own standards. Generally, drawings come with a symbol table; it is recommended that you check that before consulting the company responsible for preparing the drawings
KY probably means motor startup, while HIS likely refers to the ability to switch between manual and automatic mode
