Is dichloromethane gas easy to condense? How should dichloromethane be stored, and how can the dichloromethane vapor produced be recovered?
With a boiling point of less than 40°C, it is not very easy to condense. How to store it? Put it in the storage tank. How to recycle the gas that comes out? Deep cryogenic recovery, followed by emission to a flare.
Isn’t that too wasteful? A fair amount still evaporates after deep cooling, right?
If cryogenic cooling at -10 degrees doesn’t work, use cryogenic cooling at -30 degrees; just calculate the amount of volatilization based on the saturated vapor pressure.
Could pressure condensation be considered, with storage in a tank? A safety valve should be installed at the top to release excess pressure, and the liquid collected afterward can then be subjected to pressure condensation again. . . . . If the temperature is high, a frozen brine jacket can be used for cooling, along with external insulation. Two-stage refrigerated brine condensation in the workshop, with a recovery rate of over 95%.
