There is no absolute water; air will dissolve in it. During a hydrostatic test, the gas in the water is compressed first, and then the liquid. Carbonated beverages such as cola consist of liquid water, syrup, and carbon dioxide dissolved in water. When at rest, there’s no problem, but once subjected to vigorous movements like shaking or dropping, the contents can spray out through the bottle cap or other weak points. Therefore, a pneumatic test is more dangerous than a gas-liquid mixture test, and a gas-liquid mixture test is more dangerous than a hydraulic test.
