This post was last edited by “Such a Coincidence of Same Names” on May 24, 2019, at 10:21. Has anyone ever used Raney nickel? How to add materials during production? Typically, Raney nickel is immersed in ethanol and produced on a batch basis; how should it be added to the reaction vessel?
Baidu states that this is a catalyst; what you need to ask is whether it’s about how to load the catalyst or how to feed the process materials

I checked the following previous information, which is provided for your reference: Before using Raney nickel, its activity needs to be checked. Take a small amount of Raney nickel powder and place it on a test strip; if it catches fire on its own, it indicates that it is active and can be used. The instructions for the indigo production method state that wet Reni nickel should be added, but it doesn’t specify how to do this.
It should not be possible to feed materials during production; it is generally used while the plant is shut down
How to get started with batch reactor production. This is soaked in ethanol, but it sinks below the ethanol
Add a stirrer and introduce it into the reactor under nitrogen pressure
After pumping, powder is likely to remain in the pipeline and can catch fire on its own
