May I use galvanized steel pipes for cooling circulating water and chilled water? Is it useful? What material are you using?

Cooling water usually uses carbon steel, while cooling water systems can generally use stainless steel.
It depends on whether you have any requirements regarding water quality; if so, 304 material can be used, while carbon steel is sufficient if no such requirements exist. Galvanizing is generally used for tap water pipes
Use seamless carbon steel pipes, as the addition of chemicals and similar substances can cause scaling on the inner walls of the pipes

For circulating cooling water, seamless carbon steel pipes are generally used. As for chilled water, I’m not sure whether it refers to ordinary low-temperature water (above the freezing point); if it is brine-based chilled water, carbon steel is prone to corrosion. For low-temperature chilled water, I recommend using an ethylene glycol aqueous solution as the cooling medium; in that case, using carbon steel seamless pipes will be no problem.
