Are there many technologies available these days for producing animal oil, vegetable oil, and second-generation diesel through the hydrogenation of used oil? I found information online about the technologies developed by Nestle, UOP, Haldor Topsoe, and Axens, but I couldn’t locate any actual detailed materials to consult. Are there any experts in this field? What’s the yield now? What are the problems in the operation?
Are you referring to the hydrogenation of used oil for quality improvement, or to the production of biodiesel through transesterification? The process routes for these two are different.
Hydrogenation technology – What I want is transesterification technology; it’s not second-generation diesel, but still belongs to first-generation diesel
