Is it possible to use superheated steam to heat molten salts? Is it possible to heat the molten salt to 450°C using superheated steam?
It is not very feasible; superheated steam provides poor heat exchange efficiency. Cooling to saturated steam allows for rapid heating through the phase change of liquefaction, but saturated steam does not have such a high temperature
