For carbon monoxide combustion treatment, we want to recover this waste heat to generate hot water. I was wondering if anyone here has any successful experiences in this area; I hope those who have knowledge on this subject will kindly share it with me. Thank you!
There are quite a few hot water boilers, but for carbon monoxide waste heat boilers, especially those that use hot water, the required capacity is likely to be quite large.
The key question is about the output. For large-scale applications, use power generation equipment or chemical synthesis; for smaller scale, employ heat recovery from combustion. Oh, if the purity is high enough, it’s better to use a previous liquefaction unit. :) It is best to describe the product’s specifications, including content, pressure, etc. For reference.
The carbon monoxide content is close to 100%, and the pressure is almost zero, very low.
In this case, it’s necessary to calculate the total amount and determine which area would be the best fit for it.
It’s a shame to burn off carbon monoxide of higher purity in a waste heat boiler.

With such a small amount of fuel gas, when converted to its lower calorific value, it is equivalent to approximately 8 cubic meters of natural gas per hour; the hot water or steam generated upon combustion is sufficient to heat a bathhouse. Of course, it is still important to note that using carbon monoxide as a fuel gas ensures complete combustion and safety.
