There is a project in Inner Mongolia located in an area with collapsible loess. The project owner believes that rainfall in that region is very low, so they decided to use a method of direct discharge for the rainwater. However, according to clause 5.5.9 of standard GB50025-2018, \"After the roof rainwater exits the exterior walls, it should be directed into outdoor rainwater ditches, pipes, or inspection wells.\" Based on this standard, direct discharge is essentially not allowed”； But there is a voice saying: It’s okay; similar projects have been carried out before, and there are no problems. Has anyone encountered similar issues? Will there be any issues with image review in the later stage? Are there any relevant inspection agencies for water supply and drainage systems?
For the external drainage systems in Inner Mongolia (using galvanized iron pipes), there is no need for collection; the water can be discharged directly
It is better to follow the standards in terms of design. Recently, the climate in many places is changing, and things will get difficult if there are environmental impact assessments involved
