The cold heat from the low-temperature methanol washing pump is transferred to the bearing housing, causing the entire surface of the bearing housing to freeze over. Is there any way to prevent the bearing housing from freezing? I seek advice from experts :)

If possible, a dry gas purge pipe, such as dry nitrogen or air, can be installed at the connection point. I’m not sure what this pump looks like; it’s possible to use insulation wrapping as a solution, so it’s worth giving it a try.

I’m not sure if there are any mature solutions available. Also, when the nitrogen pump used for purging the mechanical seal on the pump is in operation, should it be turned off or kept running?

For ordinary centrifugal pumps, we are now removing the existing insulation and redoing it on the other side
For this type of pump, the flushing scheme 11+52+62 is usually selected. I’ve never seen a situation like the one you’re describing
