The book on the treatment and disposal of hazardous waste states that the pH value of liquids fed into incinerators should be greater than 4, and their flash point should be greater than 60°C. I’m not quite sure why a flash point higher than 60°C is required; is it because flash explosions can occur when the flash point is below 60°C? I can understand that the pH value is above 4, as too low acidity is not good for the lining.
It should still be considered from the perspective of fire hazard~
Typical industrial furnaces have a fuel atomization process to ensure complete combustion! Even in waste incineration, the waste is processed first before being burned.
Wastewater is incinerated in a rotary kiln, and typically a complete set of equipment is used, similar to fuel nozzles. A low flash point does not mean it is prone to deflagration
General waste liquids are stored in containers, pressurized by specialized waste liquid pumps, and transported to the incinerator; after passing through a valve assembly, they are finally fed into the operating incinerator via waste liquid atomization nozzles

Is the flash point of diesel above 55°C? (According to national standards); the higher the flash point, the safer it is. Are you studying this topic, or have you encountered issues related to waste liquid treatment in your actual work?
Is there a national standard? Can ethanol waste liquid be burned?
It is probably related to fire hazard. Could it be that the gasification expansion properties were taken into account? There is no inherent connection between flash point and expansion volume.
