Acid catalysts are used in production, and from time to time various problems arise; for example, the acid tends to remain in the product, making it difficult to remove, and it also alters the color of the product. For example, some materials tend to become powdery when using resin, which leads to additional problems in post-treatment; others have low catalytic efficiency. I hope we can exchange ideas on these issues. We are currently encountering quite a few processes such as protection/deprotection, esterification, dehydration, cyclization, alkylation, etc., and we would like to exchange ideas in a timely manner to optimize these processes. Needless to say, when sulfuric acid is used as a catalyst, it’s best to optimize the process. By raising product standards, reducing energy consumption and waste, and ensuring greenness and safety, process upgrades and optimizations are inevitable in light of the environmental protection landscape.
