Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent titled “A System for Blending Crude Isopentene into a Naphtha Hydrogenation Unit”, with the approval publication number CN 222715300 U; the application was filed in June 2024. The patent abstract indicates that this utility model discloses a system for blending crude isopentene into naphtha hydrogenation units. It includes a coker naphtha feed buffer tank, which is connected to two feed lines for delivering crude isopentene and coker naphtha respectively. The coker naphtha feed buffer tank is connected via pipelines to the top of a diene reactor; the outlet at the bottom of the diene reactor is connected via pipelines to a main reactor. The main reactor is in turn connected via pipelines to a dehydrogenation reactor, a high-pressure vessel, a stripping tower, a dechlorination reactor, and a naphtha distillation tower. The upper and lower ends of the naphtha distillation tower are each equipped with outlet pipelines to facilitate the delivery of light naphtha and refined naphtha respectively. This system features a simple structure, enables control over the composition of raw materials as well as distillation processes, increases the amount of raw material available for ethylene production, and allows for the use of crude isopentene in the production of ethylene feedstock.
