Do the SIS and ESD systems require high and low limit alarms to be set?

The DCS system already has high, very high, low, and very low alarms; do the SIS and ESD systems also need to have high and low limit alarms?
The SIS systems that need to be separated are primarily determined based on analyses such as Hazop; the alarms generally are not synchronized with the DCS
