Manufacturers can use wire feeders to quickly introduce silicon-calcium-barium cored wires into the molten steel; within the molten steel, the ferroalloys dissolve rapidly, which helps to prevent nozzle blockages. It also facilitates deoxidation, desulfurization, and removal of impurities, allows for fine tuning of the composition, increases the absorption rate of silicon-calcium-barium, boosts the yield of steel, reduces manufacturing costs, and ensures stability in the chemical composition.
