How should the equipment layout diagram of a belt conveyor be presented appropriately? Conveyor belts are delivered in bulk; there are hundreds of leg and base components that connect to the embedded foundations, in addition to tensioning devices, sampling devices, weighing devices, and so on. It is difficult to clearly represent the positioning of the entire equipment using simple schematic drawings and key dimensions, as is done in the layout diagrams for chemical processing equipment.
No one is here to discuss it, so I’ll answer the question myself. The layout diagram of the conveyor belt system should incorporate the elements presented in the overall equipment assembly diagram, the equipment installation diagram, and the layout diagram. Starting from either the tail or the head of the conveyor, it is necessary to detail the positioning dimensions of each leg of the equipment. Generally, the rollers at the tail or head of the conveyor are used as reference axes, and the positioning dimensions relative to these axes are determined. Using these as a basis, the positioning dimensions of all upper and lower idlers, legs, guide channels, tensioning devices, various cleaning systems, coal scraping devices, funnels, etc., in both horizontal and vertical directions are then indicated. In addition to the dimension specifications, a list of equipment components should also be provided. The degree of disassembly should correspond to the pre-assembled state of the equipment upon delivery by the manufacturer; fasteners and similar items do not need to be specified
