Is there a **standard** for the size of filter mesh holes?

For coarse filtering, metal filters are used, or stainless steel filters found on some bottom valves. Are there any standards – either domestic or international – that establish minimum requirements regarding the size of the holes in these filters? Or in other words, how should we formulate the correct requirements when purchasing these filters?
There are national standards and British standards; the value is generally expressed in terms of mesh. It indicates how many holes are present on a 25.4*25.4 mm cube, and the line width along with the mesh count determine the size and distribution of the holes
