In the case of steam reboilers, large fluctuations in steam consumption can cause leaks at the flanges associated with the reboiler; this is due to the difference in expansion coefficients of the flanges and bolts when temperatures change significantly. But how should this degree of control be determined? Are there any standards that set this out? That is, to achieve rapid adjustment without causing equipment leakage?

As for controlling the operating range, it is necessary to conduct repeated tests based on the capabilities of the equipment, determine the optimal control parameters, and include them in the operating procedures in order to achieve the best results in operation. When discussing such issues here, one should first check against the operating procedure parameters to see if there is any overload. The requirements for such processes are mostly stable continuous production. The reasons for the fluctuations should be clarified.
