Gentlemen, there is a pipeline that operates virtually 24/7. It is now necessary to adjust the pH of the material flowing in this pipeline online; therefore, it is planned to connect an HCl pipeline, use a static mixer, and install a pH meter after the mixer, with this meter being linked to the control valve of the HCl pipeline. Here’s the question: since the HCl pump needs to run 24 hours a day, does the mixer need to be cooled as well? There is also the selection of the pump, and whether the pump needs to be cooled
It is recommended to use diaphragm pulse pumps for the pumps, PE for the pipelines, and online monitoring instruments for PH. Cooling is not necessary, but care should be taken to prevent gas corrosion, and proper venting must be ensured
