Corrosion resistance and main application environments: Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing tungsten, with an extremely low silicon and carbon content; it is considered a universal corrosion-resistant alloy. This alloy possesses the following properties: ① It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive agents in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. ②It exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion. Higher contents of molybdenum and chromium enable the alloy to resist chloride ion corrosion, while tungsten further enhances its corrosion resistance. At the same time, C-276 alloy is one of the few materials resistant to corrosion by humid chlorine, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions, and it exhibits significant corrosion resistance to high-concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride. It is suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations, and is one of the few materials that can be used in hot, concentrated sulfuric acid solutions. Supporting welding materials and welding processes: For Hastelloy C-276 welding, ERNiCrMo-4 wire and ENiCrMo-4 electrodes are used. The sizes of these welding materials are Φ1.0, 1.2, 2.4, 3.2, and 4.0; they are manufactured by Hastelloy in the United States, SMC in the United States, and DeNi in Germany. Welding processes and instructions are available upon request by phone. Inventory status: For C-276 alloy plates, the available stock sizes range from 0.38 mm to 45 mm; for bars, the available stock sizes range from Φ12 mm to Φ320 mm. Tubes, fittings, and other products can be manufactured according to customer requirements. The main sources of these materials are Haynes in the United States, SMC in the United States, ATI from Umicore in the United States, and VDM from ThyssenKrupp in Germany.
