For some flammable and explosive gases, if it is necessary to raise their temperature to 120°C, what method should be used for heating?; I have considered electric heating or steam heating, but since the heating elements of these heaters reach temperatures well above 120°C, it would be dangerous for gas to pass through them. I use both steam heating and electric heating; both methods are well-established, and the safety levels are fully sufficient. Flammable and explosive gases are not at risk just by reaching a certain temperature; they also need to come into contact with an oxidizer. As long as it is ensured that the gas contains no oxidizing agents and that the equipment is in good condition, it is safe to connect it wherever is most convenient at the site.
If it’s pure hydrogen, it’s likely that even if the equipment is damaged, it won’t necessarily explode. . . Besides, your gas is flowing; what are you afraid of?
It depends on what kind of gas you’re referring to as explosive. If it can decompose and explode upon self-heating, then it probably won’t work. If it explodes when in contact with air, then there’s no problem; although the temperature of the heating element is very high, there is no oxygen inside, so no explosion will occur
