How much formaldehyde gas can polyformaldehyde stored in a warehouse emit at room temperature? Is it necessary to install a gas leak detection alarm system?
Polyformaldehyde should volatilize at room temperature! The standard storage temperature is 2–8 °C; it decomposes into formaldehyde when exposed to heat.
Polyformaldehyde can decompose; I think gas detection devices as well as explosion-proof measures are necessary. I hope the manufacturers can clarify this matter
