I want to install a magnetic flip-type level gauge on a rectangular water tank. I’ve never used one before and don’t know how to install it. How should I determine the height of the openings at the top and bottom of the tank? What issues need to be taken into consideration during installation? Are there any materials that explain this process? I hope fellow users can help me with this
Determine the opening size according to the process requirements
Information such as the distance between the upper and lower flange openings and the standard flange dimensions is provided to the manufacturer; once these are received, together with the root valve, the installation can proceed
Determine the normal water level height, as well as the lowest and highest levels that need to be controlled. Identify the measurement height required by the level gauge; the manufacturer of the level gauge will provide you with the distance between the upper and lower pipe ends as well as the flange specifications. You then need to cut openings in the tank according to the dimensions of the level gauge and install the matching flanges.
